In line with our Mission To Take Rx Research forward, SMSRC was founded in Nov, 2009 by Dr. Sanjoy Mitra and Dr. Monjori Mitra. Within a few years post inception, SMSRC became a leading force in the healthcare industry of Rx based market research and strategic marketing consulting for pharmaceuticals in both India and Bangladesh. Along with the leadership team of experienced and qualified professionals in this line of service, more than 180 dedicated and talented professionals across 80+ Centers in India and Bangladesh contribute actively in this journey.

Also with the aim of maintaining best-in-class technological support for Rx –based data analytics, SMSRC is constantly developing/maintaining its various B/I cloud-based platforms used by clients and/or internal analytics teams. Currently a migration to state of the art and proprietary big data platform is in development.

MedClin Research, an end-to-end clinical research company, led by Dr. Monjori Mitra provides services that complement and enhance SMSRC’s core range of services. In 2020 SMSRC partnered and invested in a health tech startup named Synaegis, that is involved in providing MedSign, an advanced Practice Management Software for Doctors (EMR, Consultation and many other features).

As a leading and established company in a data based research field in the healthcare industry, SMSRC’s systems are not only compliant with prevailing Indian data privacy laws, but also in line with the highest security standards possible in this industry.

    Dr Sanjoy Mitra starts SMSRC in Nov 2009 and takes it to leadership position in a few years in both India and Bangladesh
